ZOLL AED Plus Correction/RecallOn March 31, 2009, ZOLLŪ recommended that all aed PlusŪ users whose units have serial numbers with the last six digits below 200000 upgrade their software to version 5.32. This new software will detect and prevent potential battery problems that could develop with 123A Lithium batteries in the future.THIS CORRECTION SHOULD NOT BE CONFUSED WITH THE AHA 2005 SOFTWARE UPGRADE.
Immediate Steps That Should Be Taken
1.) Check AED for the Serial Number. To find the serial number look at the back of the AED as indicated in picture 1. Just below the barcode.
2.) If the last six digits are below 200000 then your AED needs to be corrected.
